St. Joseph School is an accredited Catholic parish school located in Auburn, California. We serve students from pre-school to grade 8.St. Joseph School, established in 1943, is an educational ministry of St. Joseph and St. Teresa Parishes of Auburn.The student population is a reflection of the rich ethnic and cultural diversity of the area which is enriched by the school's commitment to excellence in all areas.

A new era has dawned upon St. Joseph Catholic School! On February 23, 2009, the school kicked off its first “St. Joseph Catholic School Alumni and Friends Annual Fund”! This milestone is a pivotal turning point for the school in securing the financial stability for our school.

St. Joseph School opened in 1943 under the guidance and direction of the Sisters of Mercy. During the decades that have ensued, more than a thousand students have graduated, went on to local high schools, many went on to college, and many still work, live, and pray with us in the Auburn area. We look to them to help us in the stewardship of the school. With their help, we will see to it that the grandchildren of our current students will be able to attend St. Joseph School when we are long gone.
