The mission of a Catholic school is the development of the whole person; the apostolic value of its teaching and life centered on Jesus. This mission challenges teachers, administrators, and parents to keep the focus of the school on the mission and to insure the school’s stability and catholicity.

St Joseph School of Auburn is a Catholic elementary school committed to this mission. We exist for the purpose of forming students with good mental, physical, moral and spiritual habits. Thus, we strive to provide a faith and learning community where love of God and love of neighbor are our motivating principles. The actualization of this mission is made possible by the grace of God, by the sacrifice and dedication of parents, teachers and staff, and by the parish communities.
